While you’re in a relationship always have a second thought in mind.
This is my story!
In 2013 Immediately after my secondary school i started a relationship, with the thought that it will end up in marriage, I devoted all that I had towards the relationship.
Just a year in the relationship I realise it just an elusion of what I thought it will be. I was heartbroken at first, with time I got over it and decided to stick to reality. I was now on a quest to find my own heart rob.
Few weeks on, I was introduced to this brother (a business man, an entertainer and what I call a real man) based in Lagos as at 2014.
We communicated on phone till around 2015 when we finally met.
I must say I was amazed by the wonderful work of God that was finally bestow on me. He gave me every reason to smile and be happy. I felt loved. Even at this I was in a state dilemma, I didn’t know what to do about my previous relationship which I realised I actually never ended. I wasn’t ready to end my first relationship because I was still hopeful he was my Mr perfect, he will turn a new leaf and of course a part of me still loved him even if I failed to admit it.
At the end I decided to keep both relationship, focus on my academics as I was still in school and possibly pick one who is willing to be mine at the end of my study.
This went on for a while till my Lagos based boyfriend found out I was in another relationship, we had clashes and fight. In between all this, he keep me close and advised me to quit the other relationship or forget about him.
At this point I knew I had to do the needful as the first guy wasn’t showing any sign of seriousness on my path.
On 23/1/2018 I visited my first boyfriend with the thought of a breakup but derived a format that I feel will work for me, I told him I was leaving for my industrial training at Abuja (I needed to be far from him). Weeks apart he notice I was not longer into him like I use to be, he started calling for a comeback but then my mind was made up. All this happened around February 5th 2018.
After all said and done he announced his forthcoming wedding with another lady.
I wasn’t moved by his wedding announcement, am sure you all already understand why. I had just 4months left on my I.T program so I decided to leave for Lagos on June 11/2018 to start up a life with my Lagos base lover. On my arrival my Lagos base boyfriend demanded I go for various test which include genotype, blood group, HIV and pregnancy test before any intimacy, this was conducted in his biological mother hospital. The result of the test reads. Genotype AA, Blood Group O+ HIV Negative and pregnancy also Negative. How happy I was, nothing of the past was with me. He then demanded I must be pregnant for him first before proper marriage plan, this part got me a bit worried as many things keep running through my mind. What if he just trying to use and dump me? What if he doesn’t marry me? A lot of more questions were pooping on my head but I was determine to take the risk for the one I love. I was placed on specialized medication for me to conceive on time but after 5 months of medication, there was no result to show, then it was already December 2018 at initial plans i was suppose to have my introduction, the plan had to be postponed. I resulted to prayers, assisted by both family and friends.
February 2nd 2019, I was proposed to by my Lagos based boyfriend at The Big Brother Naija audition, you can only imagine the joy in my heart, the news went viral on social media, i was known as the girl that was proposed to at the Big Brother Naija Audition.
On the same month, God didn’t cease his blessings on me, I was confirmed 2 weeks pregnant by the doctors. My joy now knows no bound, my wedding plan started, my introduction ceremony was on 3rd march and my wedding was 3rd of August. All Glory to God, 3 month later I had my son a carbon copy of his father and I become the happiest woman in the world. My long dream was finally accomplished.
I hope my story may have one way or the other inspired you not to give up or all your trust in one man.
May the lord bless everyone in search for the fruit of womb and may he lead us all to our one true love. Amen.
